Winery at Bull Run is a relatively small winery, covering just 225 acres. Despite that, it has a lot to offer to wine enthusiasts of all shapes and sizes. Estate where Bull Run winery resides has been a dairy farm up until a couple of years ago. That’s when it has been converted to a vineyard, but the buildings still have that old-timey feeling to them. Rustic aesthetic is the term, if I’m not mistaken.
Let’s first talk about the most important thing, their selection of wines. What you need to know about this little winery is that it offers a large selection of over 40 000 bottles of wine. There are red wines, white wines and what really sets them apart from all the rest is their selection of fruit wines.
All kinds of berries are grown at Bull Run. What I really like there are the fruit wines. Not a lot of wineries offer this type of wine, and at Bull Run, fruit wine can be tasted for free and bought for as little as $28 per bottle, at least that’s for how much it was available at the time of writing this. Fruit wine varieties include peach, strawberry and raspberry. Winery is located in Centerville. Exact address is:
15950 Lee Highway
Centreville, Virginia 20120
If you’re in the neighborhood, then definitely give them a visit. They have wine tastings and tours every so often, so you might catch those as well.
